At Gatwick Transport we provide a low cost, high quality minicab service from anywhere in England to Gatwick Airport, from Gatwick Airport to anywhere in England and from within 20 miles of Redhill to all other airports and cities in England. Low cost - We offer some of the lowest rates in the area for long distance journeys. We do this by keeping the overhead costs to a minimum. We do not employ a ton of office staff and we do not operate a walk-in office. We keep it all online, simple and cost effective for both us and customers.

 

Fixed fares - No hidden fees! Our prices are fixed for every journey. You will know the total cost of the journey before you confirm your booking with us.* As opposed to a hackney carriage taxi, any detours resulting from road closures for example, will not increase your fare. Any time sitting in traffic will not increase your fare. We also like to tell our customers in advance about our waiting policy and charges so that these don't creep up on you by the end of the journey.

 

Reliable cars - We operate a fleet of mainly Toyota Prius+ hybrid cars. Just close your eyes for a minute and picture a Toyota Prius. Did you also see it as a taxi? There's a reason for that. These cars just don't break down on you out of the blue, something that is crucial in our line of work. It also means, that you won't find yourself stranded on the hard shoulder because of a breakdown.

 

Transparency - While we do have phone lines available for you to call, we prefer written email and whatsapp text messages as our modes of communication. This eliminates the risk of someone hearing the other person incorrectly and helps to avoid situations where customers believe they ordered a ride for some time and our staff believing it to be a different time.

 

Better for the environment - As mentioned earlier, we keep our paper use to a minimum and use digital technology as much as possible. Owing to their electric batteries, our cars drink less petrol and because our cars do not require plug-in charging, on a busy day we won't make you wait for 2 hours while we charge the car's battery!

Payment - We expect our drivers to not ask for a single pence more than the quoted amount for the job and our customers to pay the agreed amount in full upon asking.

 

Mess - We expect our drivers to arrive in presentable clothing and a clean car and our customers to not leave the car in a mess at the end of the journey.

 

Time - We expect our drivers to reach the pick up location at or before the agreed time and our customers to not unnecessarliy delay the driver.

 

Integrity - We expect all parties to be mutually respectful and truthful in all of our communications. We will not condone or tolerate abusive behaviour, or any illegal activities.
